Alison Whyte is one of Australia’s most accomplished and celebrated actors, with an outstanding reputation in theatre, film and television. Her recent productions with the Malthouse theatre include Cloudstreet, Love and Information, The Bloody Chamber, Optimism and Tartuffe. Other select recent productions include Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (Michael Cassel Group), Faith Healer (Belvoir St, Melbourne Theatre Company), The Testament of Mary, Travelling North (Sydney Theatre Company), Last Man Standing, Clybourne Park, All About My Mother, Richard lll (Melbourne Theatre Company), Hand to God (Vass Theatre Group), Australia Day(MTC/STC), Summer of the Seventeenth Doll (MTC/Belvoir), Macbeth, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Hamlet (ASC) and Rising Water (Black Swan Theatre Company). Her numerous films include The Dressmaker, Centreplace, The Jammed, Subterano and Saturday Night.  Alison has been seen in numerous television productions, including Fisk, Jack Irish, Harrow, The Kettering Incident, Glitch, Playing For Keeps, The Doctor Blake Mysteries, Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, Tangle, Satisfaction, and Frontline. Alison is the recipient of multiple industry awards including Green Room, Helpmann and Sydney Theatre Awards for her work on stage, as well as Logie and ASTRA Awards for her work onscreen.
