John Marc Desengano

John Marc Desengano is a Filipino-Australian actor, theatre-maker and educator based in Melbourne’s western suburbs. He graduated from The University of Ballarat in 2008 and has been working regularly as an actor since. Malthouse Theatre credits include Jacob Coote in Looking for Alibrandi & Atlantis (2023)
Other notable theatre credits include The Yellow Wave, The Bachelor S17 E05, Enlightenment (winner for Green Room Independent Theatre Best Ensemble in 2015), Just a Boy Standing in Front of a Girl, A Midnight Visit, Rhinoceros and many more.
Television credits include Rush, Back in Very Small Business, Lie with Me, Aunty Donna’s Coffee Café, FISK and others. John Marc’s passion for working with young people has led him to Western Edge of which he is now the Co-CEO and Co-Artistic Director.
