Steve Martin's long-running off-Broadway absurdist comedy places Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso in a Parisian cafe in 1904, just before the renowned scientist transformed physics with his theory of relativity and the celebrated painter set the art world afire with cubism. The convergence of geniuses and the fact that both the scientist Einstein and the painter Picasso are dealing with the same creative process.
This production also toured to The Playhouse in Adelaide (3-12 November), and Belvoir Street Theatre (18 November 1994 - 7 January 1995). The production was remounted in 1997.
